I’m not the president of the natural hair committee. That’s not me. 

My hair is natural for reason other than wanting to get back to “my roots” or escaping chemicals being added to my body. While all of those are good reason to go natural, I’m natural because it’s my natural hair. Every other ethnicity is able to wear their hair in it’s natural state so why does it have to be a “movement” when I choose to do the same with mine. But wearing my natural hair is only one of the many styles I like, I enjoy my long weaves and braids as much as the next girl. The point I’m trying to get at is, it’s my hair and how I choose to wear it is my choice. None of these choices in hairstyles in my case should be looked at for more than face value. 

To me my hair is just my hair. Nothing more, nothing less.
